We have experienced that many users that have Furuno FMD ECDIS, uses the "Auto Update" function of ECDIS when applying the weekly updates. However, this function will only update the charts themselves, and not the permits. The permits also needs to be added on weekly basis, prior to the charts. Please see attached userguide - choose the manual applicable - chapter 1 how to do this.
